Rio de Emocion

In my ever continuing quest to move up in this world, I've decided to start writing. I made a LinkedIn account yesterday (because you're not professional until you have one!) and there was this field where you could fill in your skills and stuff, and I saw I didn't really any skills that are useful in the world of professional douches so I just picked "writing and editing". I have no idea what I'm going to write about, but I can at least start with blog posts that nobody cares about. Might make it easier to write out my thoughts which is pretty hard.

Maybe I'll comment on the sad state of human society, or just postmodernly analyze movies and video games. I could write about my hopes and dreams for the future. Or I'll write about smurfing economics because for some reason that subject really interests me even though I can't stand the world of business and finance. I think it's full of smurfing assholes. I guess I'd fit right in. Or maybe I'll rant like a bitch in a totally ironic way about all kinds of different stuff like I always do.

I've also looked into taking up a language course in basic Chinese. It's pretty expensive, but it does sound like it could come in useful. After all the Chinese might be taking this world over from the white man in the 21st century. On the other hand, I could spend that money on buying a bass guitar and learning how to play me some music. Either way I need some more skills, because being a dumb jock just doesn't cut it. Having skills makes one a more interesting person and makes it therefore easier to move up. Right now I'm taking a dancing course and I definitely think it's going to pay off in the near future.

Next time: my medium term goals and shedding some light on my grand plan. Or not!
