I have the same thing. There's often not much response from the chatroom, even during busy hours. Sometimes people just aren't particularly talkative, though.

Welcoming in chat seems to happen less and less, I've noticed as well. Sorry you feel that way, dude. I'm sure it's nothing personal.

Its on and off for me. People say hi sometimes, sometimes they don't.

I used to say hi to everyone but considering the mental state I've been in recently (see bad, depressed, not sleeping, having panic attacks) I haven't been the most welcoming. I do try and make sure to respond to everyone when they speak to me unless I've trailed off and left chat running even though I'm not there.

I'm sorry you feel this way. I know lots of people who like you and enjoy seeing you in chat

I tend to get distracted when I get on chat and not really talk to anyone anyways, but you're a cool guy Proto. CaH is always fun too.

I like you proots and I think a lot of other people here do too. I've never heard a bad thing about you and you know how some people don't hold back.

I know for all the time I spend in chat I probably literally never greet anybody. I'd never considered that I may be one of many contributing to you and others feeling this way. It's something I'll think about from now on.

People don't greet everyone that comes in, people tend to just slip in and out. It's nothing personal. Try talking about things instead of occasionally saying something and then whining about how no one loves you when you don't get an immediate reply.

EoFF would not be the same without Agent Proto. As for chat? I personally only talk if I am directly addressed, want to invite people to watch me stream, or there is an interesting group discussion going. If I am slow to respond that usually means I am distracted on something.

The only reason I point out my habits is because I am sure there are many like me who simply idle and wait for the room to get going, so don't worry about that so much.

In my defense, I do molest you a lot in chat.

My monitor is not very big so often I minimize chat and then forget to pull it up again, even if people are talking to me. I'm sure that happens with a lot of other people as well. It's not intentional. No worries bro!

I hope you've found #eoff to be more welcoming and inclusive since you've made this; or else been a bit more proactive in getting people talking once you're in there. I idle too often, myself.
