Now instead of doctor, little kids can play TSA agent

I have not been around much lately due to work and, well, life. But I still try to browse the web at some point each day to see what stupid, ridiculous, and nonsensical things are going on. I sometimes even manage to stumble across the occasional good thing.

So earlier this year, Georgia passed a law, the purpose of which was to drive illegal immigrants out of the state and thereby creating more job opportunities for honest Americans. And it succeeded; illegal immigrants left Georgia in droves. It's a victory for America! Too bad it's ruining the state's economy, but that's a small price to pay for getting rid of those sketchy looking Mexicans.

Obama, in a nearly unprecedented move, ignored legal advice from the Office of Legal Counsel in favor of lawyers who told him what he wanted to hear. Welcome to Iraq, version 2.0. Too bad we don't have someone with such staunch integrity like Obama in office.

Oh no, something terrible has happened. Our country is in near ruins! NBC's editing of the US Open golf tournament left out the words "under god" in the Pledge, and the Christian Defense Coalition is justifiably pissed. I don't know how we'll be able to continue as a society. Our country has a proud tradition of saying "under god," god dammit! That is, at least since Congress decided to add that phrase to the Pledge in the 50s to make us feel superior to those evil commies.

Also, is it just me, or are the words "under god" in the Pledge far less worrisome than the simple fact that schools have little kids recite a pledge every day. It is horrifyingly creepy.

Speaking of creepy. I can't wait until a kid's waterboard set comes out (actually that would be hilarious).

On a good note, Republican NY State Senator cusses out the large portion of the legislature for refusing to legalize gay marriage. Borderline incoherent, yes, but also awesome.

I shouldn't be amused that people have done stupid things and everything is going wrong.
