I Hate Politics and Math

Generally, I don't think much about politics.
I kinda understand that Republicans will support Christian values, even though the individuals are simply doing it to hang on o a certain voter segment, and they seem to help keep taxes lower for businessmen.
I know that poor people are more affluent when democrats get into office, and, in kind of a backward way, that can make up for heavier taxes on small businesses, although it is killing people this time around, unlike when Clinton was in office and we had that excellent drug boom.
I learned in my Social Studies classes that the politicians are supposed to hate each other and debunk each other's policies so that nothing drastic ever happens, yet the country progresses forward slowly.
I know that I can vote, but that has precious little to do with the actions of "politicians" after they get into office.
I know that we kinda have to live our daily lives and have faith in these politics people to guide our country safely into the future.
So, today, I hear that they haven't guided us well. Apparently, we borrow money from other countries to pay for social services, massive military junk and probably a bunch of other stuff.
So, the solution to our problem is very easy to figure out.
-We drastically cut social services and quell the riots with tear gas and harsh words like, "I knew a guy who made $600 bucks a week with no legs a decade ago. You can do it to. Or die. If you'd like,m you can go to China and see how they and their excellent economy survives."
-We give an ultimatum to all the countries in the Middle East: "We've lost too many men and spent trillions trying to prevent it from happening by waging war in your country. You wage the war. If you don't, it's easy enough to determine who our enemies are, and I can't afford new weaponry. AKA, of course, I'll be expending these old-tech nuke things on you if a single American is ever killed by an Arab, whether he's Taliban, Al Queda, Muslim, Christian, Deist, Zoroastrian or any other such thing ever again.
-We allow the politicians to politely lower their own salaries and maybe decrease their numbers and amenities in the name of softening the blow on the rest of the country. If we don't want the CEO of Ford using a jet that he worked hard to run a successful business and purchase, than Pelosi shouldn't fly in one everywhere she goes either.
Probably a lot of tough stuff will happen to the US. Poor people will fall into totally abject poverty. I imagine there would be riots. Businesses like mine would utterly fail, unable to support themselves. The gap between the rich and the poor would probably finally complete itself and become bottomless, maybe.
But none of that matters because we are, as of today, as far as I know, less than a superpower living like super duper power, and the road we're on is going to lead to the same place anyway. Or else China will literally own us. As in you'll go to some joint what used to be called Washington's park and it'll have a banner with unreadable characters on it.
We'll all have to learn Chinese.
I have a hard enough time speaking Spanish. Can't do French. I'm terrified of Swedish. How the hell am I going to learn Chinese?
Screw that. I should take action!
What do I do?
Vote?
Oh yeah. Politicians are honest. The next one I vote for will probably cut his salary and that of his staff, then piss off the voters and spit in the face of people who want to kill us.
That won't happen.
So there is nothing I can do. In the past ten years since I've been able to vote, I have seen our national debt skyrocket. I've done my voting. I've watched and read the news. I've commented on things, so have countless other people. I've even formed opinions, but ultimately, the only way to change is to ask people who are going to die before they feel a consequence to stop living well in the name of their country.
That won't happen.
So, long story short, I just read in the news today that a process that began many years ago has finally cemented our path. The US is doomed. I hope the world blows up in 2012.
