shaibana, this is a sweet potato, which you can grow in a glass of water for a little while. You can see behind it in the blue tub is another plant which is a regular potato. You have to start regular potatoes in dirt; they don't like hydroponics.

Eventually, in the roots, little potatoes will start growing. I started planting potatoes in March or February, some of them froze, and some of them just died from me forgetting to water them. Anyway, we got a few new potatoes! They were so cute. All you need is to make sure you have a shoot growing out of one of the "eyes" of the potato. The sweet potato had almost nothing growing out of it, except for one very tiny root, but look what happened!

though i first have to find a store that sells sweet potato's :o

ive had some strawberrie plants a view years ago, but they died that next year
So ive been thinking a while about planting something new and funny

He's so happy to be alive! We can all learn a lot from this potato.
