No, this isn't about Twitch.

The other day I was informed that Google has decided to suspend my AdSense account. All of the money that I have earned up to that point is gone and I won't be seeing any of it. Why was my account suspended? I don't know. They don't have to tell me either. They just give me a list of reasons for why accounts are suspended and provided a FAQ. That's it. They just leave me to guess why my account was suspended. And the only way I'm allowed to contact them about it was through an appeal, so I did that.

They just emailed me again today saying it couldn't be reinstated, still wouldn't tell me why. I also know that the way they have it set up, I can't send anymore emails to them and they won't send me anymore replies. So smurf them. That was the only source of income I had and they just took it away from me. I didn't falsify ad clicks or anything. I know I didn't violate any copyright laws because reviews are under fair use. In other words, Google smurfed me and don't even have the decency to tell me why.

    Were you really making very much off it? I wouldn't think your blog is too high of traffic, no offense, unless recently with your new writing gig it boosted it. Was it making enough that it really is going to hurt your wallet? You may want to look into a different ad company.

    What did the email say "your account is suspended" or was there other verbiage used?

    I'm poor, Freya. Any money I could get from that is better than nothing. I made 58 dollars, I was halfway to my first paycheck. So yes it DOES hurt my wallet.

    To sum it up the email said (and I didn't get an email until I made an appeal) "Thank you for your continue interest in our AdSense program. Our experts had looked into it and we are unable to reinstate your account."

    I didn't mean any offense. Sorry. It was more of, if it isn't a lot of money it wont be as bad as if it was a months rent you're missing. As in, did they royally screw over your way of living cause i'd be way more pissed if it caused me to be kicked out of my home. I didn't mean it as in you're poor and a little bit of money doesn't count. Sorry.

    You may be able to switch to a new ad company and get higher returns with your new writing gig as a jumping off point. It would increase ad revenue for yourself.

    So you never got an initial email? Or were your ads just turned off? I tried to google some bit about why it would be turned off. Only thing i could think of was copyright. When did it happen? I noticed you posted radical edwards walkthrough. Maybe that threw off some sensors for them for some reason?

    It's fine. I'm just a little on edge today.

    I noticed the ads missing when I posted my Walking Dead review. When I went to my blog dash I got a notice that said my account was suspended and they linked me here. I'm not sure when exactly they disabled it. Either Wednesday or some time before.

    After I blow off some steam I'll try to find a different ad service if I can. I'd need to double check to make sure the blog would even allow it since I think they're owned by Google.

    Did you do any of these that are listed for invalid activity? Like ask people to click things? Or click your own ads?
