Okay it's been a while since my mind has been blown this much by plot twists, and they just keep on coming. In fact I don't think any visual novel since Umineko had this kind of a 'wow' factor with its plot twists.

Like seriously, all these disjunctioned plot points and lines suddenly come together to form the big picture and the amount of sense it makes is... scary.

Let me go a bit further back. So in one of the first few choices you can pick which protagonist you play as, and both of them have two story paths. Once you complete all four, you can then go on to play the fifth route, which I'm currently doing. And it is glorious. With any game or visual novel that has heavy plot twists I've ALWAYS wanted to be able to go back and just change everything by casually revealing all the plot twists in the early part of the story, and Ever17 basically allows you to do that. But you don't ruin the story doing so, you actually further it. Did I mention that it's glorious?

And my god does the plot get amazing. At the very same time it both starts making a ton of sense and also goes battrout crazy. I love it. And I can't wait to continue and finish it. I can already tell it'll rank high on my list.
