VNs in the Steam Summer Sale!

Rate this Entry
Figured I might as well make this little list for anyone interested in taking advantage of the current Summer Sale to grab a couple of games.

planetarian ~the reverie of a little planet~ is 50% off, putting it at € 4,99. Being made by the same company who also made CLANNAD and Little Busters!, naturally, I can only recommend it. It's only three hours long and thus definitely one of the best 'short' (<5h) visual novels I've ever read. Especially if you like Key, or you're interested in them, don't pass up on it. It's well worth it.

eden* is 60% off for the next 31 hours, putting it at € 7,99. Haven't read it yet myself, but I'll be taking this opportunity to get it. From what I've heard, it's worth putting in the time to read it.

The Hate Series, consisting of Analogue: A Hate Story and Hate Plus is 66% off, putting them at € 3,39 each. The bundle for both of them is 75% off, putting it at € 4,99. I'd say they're worth a read if you like Christine Love's other works. Plus they're short.

fault milestone one is 50% off, putting it at € 7,49. If you need some convincing to pick this one up, ask Pumpkin. Although it'll still take a while till the second part comes out, this is a nice opportunity to pick up the first.

For those interested in a more extensive title, The Fruit of Grisaia is 20% off, putting it at € 29,59. Often called the best visual novel currently available on Steam. I haven't read it myself, but I already own a copy and I fully intend on reading and reviewing it next month when summer break finally starts.

Higurashi's first chapter "Onikakushi-hen" is 10% off, putting it at € 5,39. As an avid fan of the When They Cry series, I can definitely encourage picking this one up. Unless you don't like horror-esque mysteries... or incredibly lighthearted slice-of-life stories. *cough*

If you honestly feel like getting it... Hatoful Boyfriend is 75% off, putting the regular edition at € 1,99 and the collector's edition at € 3,49. I myself have no plans of getting it anytime soon, but if you want to be able to say you own it/you've read it, eh, go ahead.

Finally, Narcissu is still as free and great as it's always been and (hopefully) always will be. Doesn't get any more worth your money than this.

I may have picked up all the visual novels you suggested here. They were pretty cheap, so why not.
