I realized I haven't blogged in a while so this is what has been going on:


I am doing better in school now that I actually find the classes pertinent. Instead of technology class we have marketing for example, which I find interesting enough. We had a sales type event and made it into a friendly competition and I got more sales than anyone else, including the sales teacher so that was pleasant.

At work they started giving me basically the same responsibilities as the supervisor, including training the new person, which upsets me to no end because thats not my job. So anyways, I had asked for time off for Christmas vacation last month and they didn't get back to me about that for the longest time. At a certain point I got tired of the way I was being treated so I decided that if they are going to give me the same work load as a supervisor, they are going to start treating me like a supervisor. They disagreed until I threatened to quit and all of a sudden they had a change of heart. Now I am getting myself a good vacation, a bigger salary and I get to make my own work schedule. Not bad for a job I've only had for about three months.
Jokes on them though, because after the holidays I'm getting a new job anyways.

Speaking of vacations, I am going on my first trip (other than visiting my mom) in a few weeks, so I am really excited about that.

I also picked up three internships. I got one at a garage, one at a used car dealership and one at a kitchen & bath store. Not necessarily the most interesting places to work but it'll look good on the resume.
