A stupid little rant

I just feel like ranting a bit to clear my head. Not thinking to straight right now... regrets, I hate having regrets. One of the core ways we seem to obtain regrets is not from the things we do, oh no, it's from the things we don't. This seems to be the core reason because for some reason we are so afraid to make mistakes, even though we learn from them. Why are we so afraid to learn?
Well, knowledge comes at a price, very much varying from that of a psychological penny, to nearly a fortune. We don't want to look stupid, we don't want to be rejected by our peers due to what we do/say. A lot of us just want to fit in and play it safe.
Sadly... more regrets are bound to be made going down such a route, and knowledge will be lost to time.
I'm not saying regrets can't be made because of what we do, but that more are gained from hesitation.
