I just had an awesome idea.

Once the CK competition and FFV Revisited are over and I've finished up my next 2 frontsite articles, I'm not going to get started on a FFXI spoof right away. I have a secret project that I'm not going to announce until it's done, but I assure you it will be more awesome than a Death Star filled with hyperintelligent bears with laser eyes.

It will be a blast from the past; it will not be EoFF-related but I'll post it here. It will be something you all thought was lost forever but not on my watch! Be watching this space. I'll be posting it in the appropriate forum, but I'll link to that thread in this blog to make it easier for me to find in the future.

So...FFXI Spoof. The official name will be the Vana'diel Chronicles vol. 1 or Bleys Heckles San d'Oria. So far the party is half full; We have WesLY as a black mage, Jiro as a corsair (so I guess we don't need a bard), and myself (in the form of Reynard V Dun Elspeth) as a samurai. This reminds me of actually playing FFXI back in party days -- party's half full and still no tank or healer.

    Jiro: I...actually don't know if you'll care. At all. But the rest of what I'm doing will be more accessible.

    I always care! If it's a blast from the past then perhaps I'm not in the know but also perhaps it will be a good learning experience and doubtless it will be entertaining.
