To plume up my will in double knavery

So I'm definitely going ahead with Vana'diel Chronicles after my secret project; the idea has been taking off in my head. Problem is, I only have 3 volunteers out of six needed.

So here's what I'm going to do: If I don't get my other 3 volunteers, I'll conscript 3 forum members. I'm thinking V22 and HC. If V22 isn't on staff by then, I'll fill in the third slot with a staff member, and if he is, I'll conscript Iceglow.

Here's the catch, though: If I have to conscript a player, somebody will die in the end. Pointlessly. Probably a conscript, but no promises. Also, I'll do my best to make sure that something terrible happens to one of the conscript's characters in every post.

I'll be writing at least one chapter in advance, so I can do Frig7-style "Previews" after each post. Nevertheless, I want this to be interactive, so if the readership makes any suggestions on what should happen next, I'll do my best to edit it into what's already written, unless:
a) It breaks the story
b) It makes the already-published previews impossible to write in, or
c) I don't feel like it.

Extra effort will be made to accomodate the requests of those who have a character in the story, conscripted or otherwise
