Rate this Entry
last night i was on youtube when i came across a 'home' video of a singer relearnig how to ride a bike.

and i was thinking: How can you not ride a bike?

its the first free transportation you will get in life.
it doesnt require a drivers lisence, and its cheap!
when you're around 16 you can do 10 years with a bike, maybe even longer.

so shame on you!! if you cant ride a bike :O

There are some parts of the world where riding a bike is very uncommon! I know quite a few people who probably have no idea how to ride bikes because they never had the chance to learn I agree though, it is a very good means of transport!

I didn't learn to ride a bike until I was 15. And even then it was really difficult at first. I haven't ridden a bike in at least four years. I'd probably suck at it if I tried again.

thats even weirder, since it is in our nature to swim, and another comon thing we learn
One day i was working at a pig farm and we were moving piglets.
we didnt notice there was a hole in the floor so 1 little pig fell in it.. into the euuhh manure-thing under it.
and that pig... it swim as if he did it all his life. But it has never even set a foot in water before!!

its another example on wich you can see how far we humans stand from nature

Some people have deeper reasons for not being able to swim other than "not being connected with their instincts." Everyone has the ability and the instinct to swim. Not everyone is raised in a way that allows them to call upon their instincts in times of need.

...Of course, some people even have reasons other than upbringing or weak instincts
