Thanks to the nice people at Siliconera for the insight. This project was announced way back in 2021 and was thought to be an animated film adaption of IX, but now it's been revealed to be a ten episode series about Vivi's kids set after the events of FFIX.

Rebirth then perfected that formula with an open world experience that kept the whimsy of the original but upgraded in many key ways. It also covered the bulk of the key set pieces for the game and ended with the most pivotal and famous moment.

Part 3 does still have Wutai, Rocket Town, and the Northern Continent to cover. And how they tackle the underwater section will be fun to see, as well as the Weapon battles. And we'll also see Cid and Vincent as playable. Some good things to work with but it will be hard to follow Rebirth.

The truth is that: i don't feel happy playing games anymore, except for FiveM, GTA V Online, and a bit of No Man's Sky, since I like space-related games.
