I mentioned in my first news update that my focus is on Final Fantasy multimedia both offline and online. What better what to combine those to than to post photos of some excellent cosplay. Cosplay has an internet reputation for being comical, as there are many unsucessful cosplay photos floating around. On this website, we'd like to focus on promoting hard working cosplayers who succeed by putting a great deal of effort in their costume and accessories. So take a seat and prepared to be amazed by these fantastic Final Fantasy cosplayers!

Note: While we on Eyes on Final Fantasy love to give credit to all of the excellent cosplayers featured on our front site, we often are unable to find their information or name to credit them by. If you are one of the cosplayers featured on the front site and would like to be credited, please contact us via email, or better yet, contact us via the forum, and we will add your credit information ASAP! Thank you for your patience!

First up: This super awesome Final Fantasy X-2 cosplay of Yuna.

"Two years since the demise of Sin, Yuna finds herself involved in a Sphere Hunting group called the Gullwings after finding a Sphere which may contain the whereabouts of her lost love, Tidus. Since she can no longer summon Aeons, she has learned to defend herself through powerful machina pistols known to her as the "Tiny Bee"."

Wow, look at all of the work put into those accessories! Truly, there is not one detail spared. And the cosplayer even ...

I have sad news, friends. It was confirmed on August 7th that The Black Mages, the Japanese instrumental rock band formed by Nobuo Uematsu, Kenichiro Fukui, and Tsuyoshi Sekito, has disbanded. The reason for the break up is unconfirmed, but issues involving copyright and distance between band members are speculated as possible causes. Thank you for all of your great music, The Black Mages, and we hope for a possible reunion in the future.

Don't be too sad though. If you're looking new sources of Final Fantasy musical joy, look no further! Today, my Final Fantasy media focus is on symphonic and a capella groups that have covered Final Fantasy music. Enjoy!

Vintage Final Fantasy Medley by the A Cappella Men's Chorus

For those who find that they have the Final Fantasy battle music playing in their head over and over whenever they play the older games, this might not be the best video to watch! You'll be humming this original medley for hours!

All I can say is: incredible! It is impressive enough to see an original medley, but to see it performed with such spirit and fun is really amazing. I can honestly say I watched the entire 8:24 minutes of this video, I was so entertained. This video is a medley of all of the old school Final Fantasy jams that we all hold so dear to our hearts!

Best Moment: The beginning when they came marching out making those kazoo sounds! I bursted out laughing. What an introduction! I bet every Final Fantasy fan in the audience cracked a huge smile.

"Eminence Symphony Orchestra performed the piece composed by Nobuo Uematsu called 'One Winged Angel' released with the Playstation game by Squaresoft (now Square-Enix) called 'Final Fantasy VII'.
The piece was performed at the Sydney Town Hall at the a concert known as A Night in Fantasia during October 2005"

This put chills down my spine. I can't imagine how amazing this sounded live. I wonder how the audience felt listening to this and if they knew this was a song composed for a video game. Absolutely incredible. I would be hard pressed to ...

The Final Fantasy online community is teeming with individuals that take their love of the series to the next level. Many of those people put hard work into their cosplay, or create fan art/crafts, or other such things. In all my years of being within the Final Fantasy community, however, I've never seen someone sing original Disney covers... in Al Bhed!

"I Won't Say I'm In Love (Hercules)" - Original Cover in Al Bhed by folktalebird

Not only is folktalebird's voice very pretty, but her pronunciation is spectacular! Wow!

I tried singing along to the lyrics of the karaoke version (see below) of the Al Bhed "I Won't Say I'm In Love", and I got tongue tied rather quickly. She must have put a lot of effort into this. Please cover more Disney songs in Al Bhed, for us Final Fantasy & Kingdom Heart lovers! Perhaps Simple & Clean?

    Happy listening!

Bonus: "I Won't Say I'm In Love" - Al Bhed Kareoke Version

(You, too, can sing in Al Bhed! Record it for us, and share it with us on our forum!) ...

Hello all, my name is Rye, and I'm a new addition to the team that brings you the best Eyes on Final Fantasy news! My news focus is on Final Fantasy media, both on the internet and in that place we call the real world. I hope you enjoy!

The sheer quantity of Final Fantasy multimedia is astounding - it would be both overwhelming and impossible to try to compile a list of the coolest Final Fantasy media out there in one news update. Instead, today I'll focus on the \Final Fantasy goodies listed on Etsy.com, a hand-crafting online store similar to eBay.

Final Fantasy Sephiroth Plush by Higginstuff

This is adorable! Sephiroth looks so unimpressed with us. Look at the incredible detail put into this. The buckles, the armor straps, no detail was missed! Amazing! His eyes were hand painted on with great care. I'm sure any Final Fantasy fan would be proud to have this Sephiroth protect their desk!

Final Fantasy IV Bead Sprite (Scene) Perler Craft by Dunhour

Whoa! I wonder how many hours of work were put into this fantastic and accurate bead art. It looks like it was taken directly out of the game. It must have been a lot of hard work. It portrays the scene during which Cecil becomes a paladin on top of Mt. Ordeals. I'm sure any Final Fantasy fan, especially fans of , would love to have this art in their room.

Final Fantasy Vivi Pillow - Hand Felted by Rikkarikka

Incredible! As a big fan of Final Fantasy IX, I know I certainly want this pillow. Vivi's likeness was hand felted so well - Final Fantasy fans sure are dedicated to their crafts, aren't they? And this gaming crafter does custom pillow orders, so if your favorite character was, perhaps, Quina the Qu, you could rest your head on him/her every night too!
