While a clever analogy could be made between this certain revelation and nature's only cure for menstruation (pregnancy) could be made, it would be wildly offensive toward both genders; one for mocking a biological necessity (females), and one for belitting the plight of those who suffer its ill effects the most (males).
Instead, we can report that access to pre-release content for FFXIV may be made available with the purchase of FFXIII. Japan only, as shown in the newest Shonen Jump. Speaking of which, the same magazine also revealed that
A) Alexander is as machinely as ever
B) chocobos have health bars
In other news, the SE president has noted that the "final touches" are being added to the Western versions of FFXIII. Also, something big is supposedly going down on Friday the 13th. All Nereids, beware.

...All Ace Enders references aside, we here at EoFF are didicated to bringing you the news even when we are currently watching ManChild Peterson run roughshod all over the Packers. On with the point, a new detail about the gameplay of FFXIII has surfaced, called the Crystalium System. Those of you familiar with FFX may find very definite similarities between it and the Sphere Grid system.
Speaking of FFX, there will be no Eyes on Plays FFX this month, either. Instead, one may treat themselves to a glorious Eagles victory over the Giants, in Philadelphia.

...Did you know that Square-Enix has their own, official YouTube channel? It is the Japanese branch of the company, so you can expect all of the featured videos to be in Japanese.
In any case, a few days ago they updated three volumes of "Theatre Bearers", a series of videos focusing on the upcoming Crystal Bearers for the Wii. They are narrated by a cartoony mog and a bomb. As I mentioned earlier, Square-Enix's channel is Japan focused, so these three videos are entirely in Japanese.

...A new FFXIII character has been revealed through magazine scans, with the name above. No official information has been given, but it's not like we don't read stuff with a grain of salt.

...It has updated. With what, it's irrelevant, mostly because you're going to go there yourself, right? On related notes, there's also a new series of images for said game that have been released.
In other news, the Crystal Bearers has had an announcement for the release date of its official soundtrack, as well as an Airstrip One -- err, I mean, European release. 12/9/09 for the OST, sometime early next year for the game itself. In the meanwhile, enjoy another of Kotaku's takes on FFCC:CB. Features big pimpin' suits. Or lack thereof? Depends on the gender in question.

...Because doing things for fun is more interesting than doing it because you were told to. Let's just pretend that FFXIII has come out in the States (or Europe for that matter). Hey, it's not like you're missing any recent airings of Carl Sagan's Cosmos.
