It's not as experimental as his usual stuff... the songs are longer and instrumental, and more complex, but all the random time signatures and wierd instrumentation is gone (except for maybe the track "the Gumbo Variations"). I love PF, but I've never heard of those others you mention. Bazow. Guitar work is good, although I'm dead certain it'll be electric manglation, and I prefer acoustic <3 which is lovely. I dunno. I'll try it, man. I also do prefer songs with vocals, good lyrics (i.e. Dylaaaan! <3) and yeah.
