This happened to me, too. My last.fm is evidence of this, with MCM being my top band having been played 9700+ times, and the number two is Uematsu and FF music, at 3500. All the bands I used to listen to are obsolete. :D

Well, turns out it was a false alarm. I'm just bored of NOFX, The Ramones and all my other Punk favourites because I've been listening to them everyday for 14 years. Plus I've got this obsession with Japan, now.
Well, my obsession has just gotten worse.
I'm listening to Hi-Standard, a great Punk Rock band signed to Fat Mike's label Fat Wreck.
