HAHAHA that unearthed a real deep half-memory. I searched for that phrase and found a usernote where I reminded DK what we did years later. This was all the smurf with The Fonz:

I made a really nubbish sounding second account, don't remember the name, and then we told him we were gonna troll the trout out of it. This "nub" (aka me) proceeded to PM Paul (who, of course, was in on it) and he had to officially warn Fonz for flaming noobs.

THEN, Fonz was pretty furious about it, so we deflected it and told him it was Manus's idea (complete lie). So we had him change his avatar or signature to a picture of Manus and had him change his custom title to "James Hornby is gay" or something like that. Total confusion ensues.

That's how I remember it anyways, I kind of wish I still had the motivation to do that kind of stuff because that one was actually planned pretty well.
