Nice! Now I'll just need to do the same - got lots of stuff going on recently.

I'm, together with two friends who keeps bugging me about it all the time, preparing for a SSBM tourney as well as a Touhou 12.3 tourney at an upcoming anime/gaming con. I'm also trying to make a Grim Heaper/Sho Minamimoto cosplay for said con while also discussing the possibilities of eventually starting up a small gaming company with a dude and some other stuff.

AH, I haven't been on much lately either. Sorry for the late reply. =P

Many people ( including me ) dislike FF13. It has nice graphics, I'll give it that. But as for everything else... I prefere the older titles ( FFX and everything before ).

Anyhow... I've participated in a contest (make a game in one week) and actually managed to make a short game in RPG maker in only one week.

Normal games often take years, so it obviously can't compare to the other title I'm working on "Shads and Babes", which I mentioned earlier. But... well, I've now officially made a complete game. =P

I agree. The FF games really are going downhill too. Way too much focus on the graphics. And I don't find the characters all that interesting either. Liked a lot of the old ones much better. They really did have a certain "magic" about them that seem to have been lost in the newest ones. =/

Well, I've been playing Touhou 7: Perfect Cherry Blossom quite a bit lately. It's an oldschool-style 2D shooting game that's both very difficult and addicting at the same time. I just ( today, actually ) beat the "Extra Stage" in that game, which has one of the toughest extra bosses I've ever fought. So yay! Another accomplishment to be proud of! =D Other than that tough, not much.

Nah, I haven't watched any new animes in quite a while now actually. I did watch Angel Beats, which wasn't too bad. Oh yeah, and before that (quite a few months ago now) I watched Ga-Rei Zero which is well worth watching. But other than those two, I haven't really found any new animes to watch. How about you?


Yeah, going to Carlifornia was awesome. =D That's cool. And though I'm pretty good at Brawl, I'm still much, much better at melee. It's too bad melee can't be played online. =P

Haha, if english was my first language, I'd totally go for being an english teacher in Japan then. xD Yeah, that'd be awesome man.

And what a trip about California! My sister lives there and she's actually staying with my family for about a month to visit with her niece and nephew, who while they are very entertaining, are just such a hassle to go with post secondary classes urghhhh. I've always wanted to go to a Smash Bros tournament, but I can't recall any being remotely close to me. I'm not gonna lie though, in my circle of friends I KICK ASS at Brawl/Melee. With seasoned champs I'm hoping I can at least keep up.

And honestly man Japan is my dream, or even my end goal. Apparently if you go to Japan as a guy teaching English you can make a lot of money while living there. Although I'm going into sciences I'd way rather prefer doing that. Best of both worlds Regardless in about a year or something we should totally head down there!!

And I'm going to have to check out that Babe Keepers thing. I'm not that into what is happening at EOFF nowadays, anything entertaining going on?

I just think I have a bad reputation for working. They see me and go... yeah we're not going to hire you... at least those are the vibes I get. I should probably cut my bushy hair but it's like a child to me! :P

Regardless I'm probably lucky that I ain't working, but a little bit of random money doesn't hurt, even though I'm not a very wise saver hahaha. And yeah TT's weapon shop sounds perfect actually! No real involvement in anything, just a little cameo would be amazing. Woot I'm pretty stoked for this game

Well, I went to Carlifornia for about 10 days at the very begining of the year. After that, I've been to 2 small Super Smash Bros Melee tournaments. Made it to the first round in the semi-finals in one and to the second semi-final round in the other. In the second one, I could have made it even further though, if I hadn't been unlucky enough to face and get knocked out by the guy who's 2nd best in sweden and won the whole tournament. xD

Uh... I'm also part of the "Babe Keepers" here on EoFF who do the "Video Babe of the Week" in General Gaming. xD Other than that, not much new to tell really. =P

Haha, yeah... same. Totally the same. Just the thought of working makes me cringe. xD I gotta change that attitude if I actually wanna get a job somewhere though.

Job interview:

Very true. Oh, and... if you'd rather be something like a storekeeper somewhere than a boss in the bonus dungeon, you can be that too. Like... "TT's Weapon Shop" or something along those lines. Spots like that are easy to make without having to do any big adjustments to the story, so if you got any ideas of your own, just let me know. =P As for how long... it's really hard to tell. I've decided to try have it finished at least by next summer. Buuut... it really depends on a lot of different factors. Like, how much time I'll get to work on it, how quickly I can get certain things done and such. Right now, I've almost come long enough to make a short "demo" of the game and all the intro scenes and such are like 97% done.
