Yeah I also forgot about mold breaker and was confused. I put Taunt on Malamar just for that very reason! Also for Cofagrigus which I figured also had a lot of status moves. That was an intense battle and I thought it was over when you kept switching back and forth between Blastoise and Excadrill. Those rocks would have worn me down!

Well, I'm GMT-7 so this will be another tough one to manage. I'm free from about 6AM-7:30AM my time or after 5PM. That's pretty much every day though I am pretty open this weekend since I'll be home with the kids all weekend.

I got this pissed because I knew I was going to lose. Aerodactyl single handily hard counters four of my team members, and only Ferrothorn can do anything to him. And you'd have to be an idiot to leave him in against Ferrothorn, because you have several Pokemon (like Houndoom), who can just one-shot him.

And, frankly, you're not an idiot. You're a far better battler than me. You have more experience, make better judgement calls, and know the metagame better.

Facing a better trainer with a better team means I'm already screwed. And, I freely admit, I'm a bad loser too. I'm working on it. But I've got a long way to go. It's hard enough without having someone go "ha ha, I beat you" and mocking me publicly while I'm already beating myself up for the loss. It's why Minato didn't want to face you again, because she knew she'd lose too, and hated the thought of being mocked for it on top of losing (especially since she knew she'd get a ton of crap from everyone else since she was previously undefeated).

You're right, there are a lot of sore losers here. As gamers, we like to win. As casual Pokemon fans, we're used to winning all the time. We get used to winning, and we're not used to losing, or having to take losing well. I mean, if you throw your controller and curse out the AI, no one cares.

So why would you kick these people when they're down? Why would you tease and mock them when you've already beaten them? It's really infuriating.

When Bern showed back up, I was so mad that I found myself actually considering cheating. Hacking in illegal moves, using items, whatever. Just to make sure you didn't win with that attitude. That's why I had to quit.

I do consider you a friend. One of my closest here, to be honest. Which, if anything, just made this even more frustrating. I didn't want to just scream "stop being a jackass", because I do like you. But I felt that I finally just had to say that, because the frustration was too much.

You're a friend, but I never want to compete with you in anything ever again. And I probably won't do another of these if you're in it, because it's more frustrating than fun. And I'd be tempted to sabotage you in whatever way I can. I can be petty sometimes.

I just, I really didn't enjoy any of that. All the losses were punishment enough. Being mocked on top of it just took things too far. I didn't want to go through that again.
