It's not that bad on it's own since you can just buy a lot of booze to keep your demon how you want him, it's just when combined with the other two aspects of the game.

Also, now Legend of Zelda: Link to Another World can be added to my list of games this year!

Oh dear god no, it's a very well made game, it's two things that bother me.

Firstly is I always hate the first person RPG view. That is a personal gripe though, and not something that will bother everyone.

The second is the demon negotiations. The mechanics of negotiation work fine, but when in practice it becomes this, "I'm gonna eat you, what part of you tastes good?" "My tongue!" "Really? Thanks for letting me know, here's 5,000 Yen!" *Leaves*, there is something inherently wrong. It's so distracting when the game is setting this really dark atmosphere just to have that happen, and regularly as you do a lot of talking to demons in battle.

Finally is the Loyalty on your demons. There loyalty drops in battle if you chose actions gainst there personality type, and when there loyalty bottoms out they up and leave your party. There are items to raise loyalty and change personality types, mind you, but just to use a party I want how I want becomes this unfun micromanagement. I don't want to have to constantly watch what I am doing with my demons in battle for fear of them just up and smurfing leaving me cause I decided to have them cast magic a few too many times.

All three of these systems may not be inherently bad for some people, or sht that would bother me enough to out right stop on their own, but all three systems are ever present and constant.

And I had been playing through Soul Hackers!

....And I don't like it.

I might have to grab the game whenever I get a Vita, if it's available for download anyway. Same way I'm finally going to play Let us Cling together.

However Skyblade seems to like Time and Eternity!

Well, back to Dynasty Warriors and Soul Hackers!

It's in that part of the shrine no one goes to. Either that or Reimu ate him.

I did, and it was awful. Really that battle system alone was enough to turn me off, not that a good system could have saved this game mind you.

Really the crappy battle system was the least of the games problems.
