While I do think the conversations are cute and intimate, my dear Shiny, I will agree I prefer the idea of visitor messages becoming more of public tagboard items. It is strange to see something personal as a conversation still be as public as they are now; for a time, conversations do feel as if they are in their own little world, and yet anyone can read them should they take the time to look. Worse yet, a reader cannot even join a conversation despite having a desire to share in the discussion.

Were I to weigh what I prefer more, a public tagboard where the conversation followed a series of posts all on one profile or the far-removed one-on-one conversations which disallow for group discussion and can only be followed via specifically viewing the link to the entire conversation, the former ascends in preference easily.
