In this case, I think seeing the movie first is better than reading the book first. I think I would have been pissed if I had read it, and then watched it and it didn't have the last chapter in it.

I saw the movie years before I read the book. Like, I didn’t even know. I got half through the book and I was like :skull::skull::skull::skull:, I think I have seen the movie of this. It was twisted and depressing. But OK.
