You've got to quit it with the obsession of these "cool kids" you aspire to be like. I am assuming that is what's behind all this.

Really it’s because I don’t suck my thumb. I just... don’t see the point of it. I tried to pick it up a couple of times, but I just can’t get it.

You haven’t? Man, there were so many in the town that I grew up in. There was even a massive weeping willow over my dad’s driveway.. I don’t know if it’s still there. I thought they were great. There was this pond somewhere, and I would sleep under the nearby willows some days after school. I knew when it was time to go because mosquitoes attacked. Such a grub.
