It’s so militant and ferocious. I guess those are some positive characteristics for a Virus scanner though, huh? I finally caved in to its “7.1” commandments. “You must upgrade to AVG 7.1 before January 34th, or you will explode!” OK, AVG. If it is indeed 7.1; I am unable to recall the exact version at this time... Ow it feels like a bee is on my back. Anyway, I managed to disable its frequent scanning (and now make sure to manually scan whenever it is right for ME); however, I have not been able to cull its automatic updates .It seems if the computer if off-line when it wants to better itself, it gets really cranky at me. I know you won’t read this until a later date, but whatever. Have fun!
