I hate how they always told us (or at least me) that it was a chain when we were like 10, and then as we got older they were all NO IT'S A RING! I hate it when they do that. I would have been able to handle a ring at 10. I would have. I would.

Yes, the middle, and it isn’t a chain. It’s a ring.

They must be at the top of the food chain.

Maybe some other flying creature that eats bees but does not hurt me. Something like that probably doesn’t exist.

You know those fire blankets? You need a bee blanket. Or maybe you need like gas that comes out from your ceiling.

It was dark in here, and I guess... I don’t know. They always seem to do it, though. TINK TINK TINK its head against the light. The swat is too far away and if I move it’ll land in my hair. roll. I have to roll on the floor to make it to the lightswitch. Switch lights then I will arm myself, get to a vantage point, switch lights again and wait for the mother smurfer to migrate. In the space between lights I have one chance to kill it—if I fail that, then enrage it into stinging me.
