It's probably more common in England, and even more so in Ireland. Because that's where the name is from, after all. I was named after an Irish teacher of my father's. And that's not a lie (I don't know why I'm saying that)

I don't think there are any in high school. Is it really unnatural to not have more than one? Maybe it's just not a common name here. I don't even think I KNOW OF any.

I was the only Liam in my high school. 8-) There was one the year before I went there, but not one for the whole time I was there. Which is kind of odd, because it's not one of those weird names that only one person should have.

I've never been friends with a Liam. Nor a William. Enemies, yeah. Never friends. One lived across the road from me. They were hippies. I went to his house once while they were away because my dog was banging his dog. It was scary.
