It was just really important we didn't miss anyone's birthday email. I still get mine every year and it's always a joy.

  1. That kind of crazines always got to be, but so did the people who were so apathetic about it. Like the girls who would just stand there and not try at all.

It's worse if you have a good team because they expect to win. They rely on you more, because they are such a good team and you have to be good too. Angry faces.
  3. Yeah goalie is just terrible. Even when you do have a good team there is no stopping the thing from coming down there.

That's what I would do when I had to play soccer or rugby or something. Try to keep as far away from the ball as possible but make it look like I am doing something. smurf, that's right. We also had days when we had to pick a sport that we would play for the entire day. Thankfully those were only once a year. And I usually got pretty sick for them. One time for soccer I made the mistake of picking to be goalie because I really thought that would be the easiest. It wasn't.
  5. Neither could I. Neither can I. And you always have to run around looking like you're doing something useful and trying to pretend that you can do stuff but not make eye contact with the team members or hide behind someone or ugh.

Oh I know that competitive thing like I don't know if it's the same or something but I seemed to always smurf something up and the whole team would get mad at me and I'm sure it wasn't even that big of a deal but they got really pissed like in volleyball I had trouble hitting the ball and in baseball I had trouble hitting the ball and in basketball I couldn't shoot or pass very accurately.
  7. Amen.

I wouldn't mind doing stuff so much if it wasn't competitive things. I am not a competitive person, and being on teams with crazy people was terrible. Like one time we were practicing with Volleyball and this head Alex walked in front of each of us (there were about 10 of us and all in a big circle) and he held out his arm and was all "look what I've done for you look how good I am look what I do for this team" cause his arms were all red from hitting the thing so hard

In primary school—which, I guess, is like elementary or whatever—things like that were compulsory. I hated it. Running, swimming, everything. Though swimming wasn't so bad I liked doing it doggy style. What I didn't like was getting naked around every else. But yeah other stuff, too. We also had to ddo a stupid sport every friday and I would like skip that time which was well I was anyway it sucked. And twice a year was athletic day where everyone did bastardized versions of olympic sports and also get burned by the sun. I would rather do math. Well, I wwould rather do nothing.
  9. Yeah Thinner is Bachman. And what the heck you had to do cross country? Like, it wasn't your choice? Over here that is special and different from PE and you only get in if you try out so no nerds or meat puppets I think

I've read Rage, The Long Walk, Road Work, and The Running Man. They are all in one book; The Bachman Books. Anything else I haven't read. Uhh.. I'm pretty sure others exist. Thinner is a Bachman, right? I haven't read Thinner. But they are good stories. The Long Walk is probably my favorite. I remember when I first heard about the Long Walk I was... doing cross country where I had to run around this smurfing field. And this book nerd that was slow enough for me to run next to and talk to would tell me all about Stephen King and during that run he brought up The Long Walk because it was kind of related to what we were doing because we got a detention if we stopped for too long at place that wasn't a checkpoint :yap:
