I can remember the first Ramones song I ever heard. I was, hm, I think I was 6 but I could have been a little younger or older. It was on a bluebird ad and it was Surfin' Bird. That's actually a cover. But it was the Ramones' version.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. But it's just as bad. I'm sure I've heard bits of them on like...VH1, at some point too. AND OH WAIT smurf I think I went to borders not that long ago and found a cd and listened to it. I think. Or maybe it didn't work. Now I don't remember.

I'm going to take a wild swing and say you have. You just didn't know it was them. The acknowledgment of a song by the Ramones is usually pretty subtle, anyway. Especially in car ads.
