The same reason I wouldn't.

I like it when he actually chooses to lay on my back or something. It means I have done something right. But whenever he chooses to lay on my back or lap it's usually when I am just about to get up. I either kick him off or whatever I have to get up for is not longer important.

Why wouldn't a cat like being called RSL?

My cat can be like that too; I like it when she lets me put her wherever, things are easier that way for me. I hate having to be so cautious about my movements. If she's on me and I move she's all GRAH >=( and then she leaves and I cry. I've never called my cat RSL though. She wouldn't tolerate that. I hope you've apologized, or made him a gourmet meal.

Most of the time my cat is cool when I pick him up. Sometimes he just sleeps when I pick him up! And then I can put him almost anywhere and he will stay. But sometimes he is a little grumpy and as soon as I pick him up his thrusts his paw into my throat and I put him down and apologize. I accidently called him RSL the other day (yesterday)

My cat was a fighter and he got run over though! Although yeah yeah you are right. Laid back cats are better. Laid back everything are better. Does he freak out when you hold him?

There is a greater chance of him staying pretty, which is always a good thing.

He's so laid back it's awesome.
