They are very, very different.

I've never really seen them up close. Just on tv shows. And I can only really see the shell. Eh...in my ignorance, I guess I view oysters and mussels as the same thing.

I've never had either. I don't like judging food by the way it looks, but....god it just looks so slimy yucky I don't know. :-\

I’ve never been bitten by a swan, but I can tell by watching them that they look painful. I remember some girl walking up to one’s nest ages ago... it was funny. For me, anyway. Real savage.
