I haven’t heard much about any Stephen King, because there ain’t much readin’ where I come from. Pretty much the only ones I heard of (before the internet) were It & The Long Walk, and those were both from the same person, when I was like 11 or some . He was a smart kind. He had a twin brother who was a little dim, but not really an evil version.

That's Misery. I don't...that one sounds like it'd be too gruesome. SHUDDER. The Dark Half isn't very famous anyways, I don't think. I've never one anyone talk about it.

At first I thought it was the one about the writer who gets captured by the crazed fan, but I guess not... haven’t heard of it, though. :-\

I bought it today, although I read the first chapter or so a month ago or something ANYWAYS it is about this unsuccessful writer who has also pseudonym, and when he writes under that name, his books are popular. But then he's found out so he holds a "funeral" for the name. Then I think the thing comes back and is murdering people and and the real guy gets blamed.

What’s that?

At least he inspired The Dark Half.

My favorite of the ones in there is the long walk. The rest are mediocre.

Are the Bachman things good? I want to read all his stuff but the...plots for those things seem so annoying or something.

I’ve also read the Bachman Books and a few short stories (from Skeleton Crew)

It and Pet Semetary and The Shining. Have you only read those?
