We used nothing but our own bodies! But they do say use whatever the smurf you can...but we were not trained in specific dirty tools.

Maybe. I mean, fight dirty when you're in a real fight, but not when you're sparring. If that makes a difference.

They tell you to fight dirty, too.

Depends on what kind of kick it is. Though coming from someone who is learned in taekwondo, yeah, I’d probably be healthier without it.

Out of those three, punching is the only one I would engage in. Kicking is much too brutal.

Punching and kicking would probably not be so bad, anyway. Macing might not be so... tolerable.
