You know, I struggled with that concept for a long time. Whenever I hear about something or read about it (if it 's worthwhile) I always try to learn more about it. When I first received the response "It's not something I'm interested in" from a person I was having a discussion with about theology, it never occurred to me that people could be that way. I always thought everybody had an innate interest in wanting to learn. I always thought, "How could a person not want to learn more about something? They must be lying. I guess they just don't like talking to me." I lost a few friends because I didn't understand that people were different from me in that way. I want to learn everything. EVERYTHING. Well, everything worth knowing. I think people should try to learn things whether they're interested at first or not, because once they learn more about it they might see how truly interesting it is.
