That's what makes TT interesting though. Sheer outpowering alone gets a bit dull after a while.

What kind of cards are good for same/plus also depends a lot on your opponent's cards. But since the two strongest and most common numbers on the boss cards are 7's and 8's, that's two numbers the opponent is likely to use a lot. And if he/she isn't, then it will be easier to outpower your opponent unless he/she manages to pull off a crazy plus/same combo that still beats your better cards etc. And so on.

Yeah, I didn't get the plus/same rules either, until my second playthrough of FFVIII. And yeah, thanks to plus/same, Jumbo Cactuar can actually be better than Tiamat sometimes exactly because it is 1 point weaker on one side. Those double-4's can be quite handy.

I have to figure out ways to use it myself. It's a great power-card, but it's harder to come up with solid ways to get it to work with plus/same.

I got extremely drunk last night. I got about a dozen French people dancing an Irish jig to Dropkick Murphys. My god it was fun.

Mostly money and art. Many of my friends are artists so they'll usually make me something pretty awesome.
But yeah, by birthday was pretty jammin'.
