    The assumption people make of "...and I want to introduce you to my sex dungeon" following every compliment has kind of ruined the world.

    If someone looks cool or interesting, I'll usually stop them and let them know that their shoes are awesome, or they look really happy or whatever. But some people really do have amazing legs and it's a pity there's a taboo on just complimenting folks, because it always makes me feel like the smurfing king when strangers compliment me for stuff.
