Okay, I'm really sorry. I hope I didn't offend you If you need to talk, I'm here
Feel like doing some speeches this time around?
No worries. I just wish I could remember the fancy stuff I did a few years ago. Actually made it pretty easy. Not that it's really that hard anyway. Tedious, but not too difficult.
The nerve of that woman. I need to actually sit down and collate that data soon. Been too busy this week.
If you're still up for it, I can just pm you the ones you'll be revealing and whatnot.
Outlast looks like it excels in the creepy atmosphere department. I do want to give that a go sometime to see how much it unsettles me. Honestly, my only foray into horror games has been Silent Hill 1-3 (still haven't beaten 3). I have Fatal Frame 1 and 2, but I have yet to play them. I also have the first Amnesia. Perhaps these would all change things for me. Horror movies haven't done it for me, though. Honestly, I generally have to physically be somewhere creepy to be scared it seems. The puzzle thing is interesting. I was watching Paula play Outlast a bit on Twitch, and she got stuck in a part where a monster thing kept killing her no matter how much she tried to sneak past it. She said something along the lines of "I'm just more angry than scared now." That's gotta be hard from a game developer standpoint, trying to design a hard, tense, scary moments without having those moments become too frustrating to kill the horror and atmosphere.
I wouldn't call me an expert; I just really enjoy and am fascinated by it. Honestly, I still haven't found a horror movie or game that actually scares me for some reason, and it kind of makes me sad since I actually kind of enjoy the feeling of being afraid.
Correct.
If possible, I'd really like to read your critical essay on horror games sometime.
I'm sure if they did, it wouldn't be an accident.

I told you we were going somewhere special for Christmas, didn't I? Look, we're heading in the right direction, I can feel it. You just have to have a little faith. The pub is a stone's throw away, I just know it!
