And yes, I agree that a detailed plan is the best way to go. I read this message about two days ago as well, so I promptly structured out my story, and I was definitely happy. As long as the story is open to bouts of improvisation, I think that it could work wonderfully.

And awesome! A few excerpts and you have to start a new thread for the story, from start to finish. There's nothing that brings me more excitement than knowing that someone is going to up updating a long and engrossing story. Revive the writer's section Jiro!

Yeah, it's an option for the "last resort" atm. I spoke to my sister, she actually agreed with me bout the stress and getting signed off. I've also caught my direct superior essentially incriminating himself for unfair treatment and bullying on facebook which means when written off I'll have a stronger case to either move store or keep myself off work longer. Stupid idiot that he is he didn't even think to hide it.

well not looking at moving home unless I have to. Might consider leaving London completely, would be tempted to go further North. Scotland would be a distinct possibility as would Manchester or Newcastle. However I'd need work there lined up or to have some savings in my bank account already before getting out there for that. Right now it's a case of instead of working 16 miles away in central west end, I'm looking within 5 - 10 miles from home, mostly within the 5 mile mark that way, no or very little if I need a bus pass travel costs (bus pass is like 60 a month)

Yeah tbh I could even earn less if I could walk to work every day. I applied for a job in a recruiting agency, 12000 a year training but up to 35k a year OTE (so if I hit all targets, unlikely but who knows) after taxes, rent and bills I'd be left with a minimum (excluding any comission/bonuses) of £420 a month for food, phone, gym, credit card which is pretty good going (I count a night out or two as food) At the moment I'm earning nearly 14000 before taxes and it's not enough primarily because I have to pay a whopping 140 a month travelling there and back. Of course more money would be better but if I took that trainee position did that for 6 month to a year and moved to another recruitment agency my pay would leap to around 20000 which is not bad.

But yeah 50hr weeks would destroy me in present state gotta hope for the doctor to see that too! Write off pile here I come!
