You'd be surprised at the lack of progress I've made in three years. (holy crap, it's been three years!?) When we last left off, I failed my entire semester of uni. I took a year off to do a course in youth work, which I barely finished. Then I went back to uni in 2010, but they refused to recognise that I was actually enrolled for an entire semester, the subjects I was doing for a second time. So I did them for a third time and finally am making some sort of progress. It's been a struggle, to say the least.
