    Last year a radical Muslim group burnt a pile of poppies which, as you can guess, caused outrage. That wasn't the problem because they should have been blasted. What made me ill was the fact that the EDL (far-right pressure group) decided to stick their nose in (violently) and they got idolised for it. And then there were people discussing Muslims as an entirety being disgusting to English heritage and using it as a justification for their racist and intolerant spin, which is just as ignorant as what they think they are opposing. I'm not particularly intelligent but smurfing hell I despair.

    Okay so how bad should I feel that I smurfed up the armistice silence horrendously by having a fit of uncontrollable laughter in a shopping centre seconds before the town bell, and then desperately trying to subdue it but failing? It was embarrassing and I should probably feel quite bad.

    It's really interesting stuff actually. How much the stories have been diluted over the decades. Gotta say though, the Little Mermaid one is pretty screwed up. The version I read was anyway. (not the one in the link)
