You can just jump in watching them at any time, it's very rare for them to be connected to each other.

Fan service is only the focus (and possibly the only focus ) for Kon and Chizuru (the redhead classmate who is in love with Orihime). Also Yoroichi in the musicals when she sings a song about her breasts.

No problem. There are a couple short side stories in as well, so I'll let them surprise you, and you can skip some episodes because they are just recap. Usually recap episodes will be after a filler arc ends because then you are right back into the action from before the filler arc started.

Also be sure to watch until the ending for the omake segments. Many of them are based off of side stories that Kubo wrote because he could, like all of the Shinigami women association segments.

INT274 Politics and Security in East Asia

I'd put INT235 first, INT274 second, and INT257 third. But this depends on how much you care about East Asia! I'd do that above Security because I'd find it interesting and removed. You're an Aussie so you probably hear little else I don't think you'll really go wrong with any of them though.

You can always just skip the introductory arc and get right to Soul Society.
