    I'm fairly sure I've never been stung by a bee, just that yellow jacket when I was five. I doubt I'd enjoy getting stung much either.

    Bees? They aren't, but only if you smurf with them. If you leave them alone you're pretty much fine. I know this, and yet I can't seem to internalise it.

    High-rise buildings don't bother me. Bees still engender a fight-or-flight response for me because I was stung by a yellow jacket when I was five and I've never been able to internalise my knowledge that there's a big difference between the two into not having a fear of them.
