Hmm, are there any games in particular that you were going to talk about with racism in Final Fantasy? It's a topic I've never really thought about, and it would be worth looking into.

I have not seen that site. I'll have to check it out when I am not at work! Also, in my defense, I try to make my puns cringeworthy. I love when people face palm. I actually been playing this table top RPG that a friend of mine created (he is testing it and changing it by having people play it). Anyway, I go out of my way to make my character say cringeworthy puns. In game, I hit some dude in the shoulder with some ice spell and said that my character yelled in combat, "Don't give me the cold shoulder!" The DM facepalmed and said the enemy groaned, but not out of pain. Now when I play, it is EXPECTED of me to make puns and they are harshly judged if they aren't terrible, it's great!

It's all good. That's why I make so many puns/jokes with wordplay. I find it fun to figure out something amusing that works!

I would like to get coin to write video game stuff. I've only done the two reviews on here, but I have ideas for more in depth things for different games to write down the line. I did write a paper about Bayonetta freshman year of college, but it was pretty bad. In any case, I'll probably volunteer here and at a more generalist site just to build up my writing portfolio and to have fun with it.

I can agree with words being awesome. Writing is my stress reliever and it keeps me sane during the more stressful parts of life.

Ah that's cool. I just noticed you and Pike talk about writing sometimes in the writing forums, and I couldn't remember if you wrote novels like her or something else. Now that you mention that, though, I seem to remember reading about the video game writing job somewhere in the forums. I actually kind of miss writing academic papers. Literary criticism/analysis was always fun to do for the English portion of Secondary Education/English degree.

Glad that your writing is helping you out with your anxiety and other problems. From what I have seen, you are a good writer. Though it was never submitted here, because the contest didn't go that far, but that FFIV piece you helped me edit was awesome. Made my story so much better sounding.

That is seriously awesome. I used to be somewhat serious about that, but I decided that it wasn't right for me (and I am not talking about Primary Ignition, I did that mainly for fun).

Oh, and even though I doubt it will pan out, thanks for the nice thoughts in the Ciddie prediction thread!
