Yeah ToH is pretty dead these days! Pike is the only person I still talk too from there... everyone else seems to have parted ways. Kind of sad where we'd known each other for so long but that's life really.

So how are you anyway? You left not long after I (re)joined here and I haven't really seen you since ToH.

Different because neither are 'sexy'? I'm honestly unsure how they are similar beyond that.

Another race worth looking into is the Ronso. I'm not a FFX buff by any means, but they clearly have an interesting culture and it there is lore behind them in the games, so that could work. The other FFXI races and the FFXIV races just haven't struck me as interesting so far. What else... uhm... Vieira in Ivalice are a 'sexy' race with a fair bit of background.

Miqo'te is overdone and so far I haven't felt there is much depth to the races in FFXIV when it comes to lore. FFXI was lore-heavy regarding some races, particularly the Galka who suffered racial prejudice in Vana'diel. You should also check out how Galka are said to reproduce, it's an interesting tidbit.

I'm so glad you said Shumi because given recent VM's I genuinely was thinking you were wanting me to put out a pie graph stating which ethnicities had won how many Ciddies.

Ivalice is your next go-to place for races, but personally I'd suggest looking into the FFXI races first because most people won't know as much about them, and the lore is certainly there on the internet for research.
