What the... did you two play and finish just now?

Here I'm still waiting for him to make his 4th moves. And I've soon been waiting for 48 hours.

I can't guarantee that kotora will use the same cards against you, but against me it seem like he wanted to use the cards with 7 or 6 in power in one direction. This allows him to take over some boss/GF cards from specific directions, or create combos in single directions. The problem, however, is that it becomes almost impossible for him to create combos in two directions as long as you pay enough attention. And as long as you prevent him from getting a two-way combo set up, then winning with sheer power should be pretty easy.

Oh, and... I'd say Chubby Chocobo is a pretty good card overall. Maybe he could replace Quezacotl?

If you want some casual matches to try out new decks/hands, then just let me know/send me a challenge.

Using a boss card that has better combo potential or spread but covers those same areas could be an option. While they have less overall focused power, they could still prove more useful overall. Possibly. Catobeplas doesn't have any 9's, but is pretty good for combos and has a pretty powerful overall spread, for example.

Even without Quetzacoatl, I think you have enough power to the right. Only the power downwards is lacking.

And as long as you don't let your guard down against low-level cards like Psy and Vivi did, then kotora should be a safe win. Aside from using level 1 cards, he doesn't seem to be planning too far ahead since I actually managed to manipulate his second placement for a secured 7-3 or 8-2 win.

Combo with what? And just beat kotora, and you'll be safe. I'm pretty sure you'll beat him. I would lose otherwise, but... I want to "win the bracket" to screw up Rantz' prediction. xD

Another good thing is: stuff will probably get easier outside the bracket too. We are basically in the "pro bracket".

Alright, I made a hand I think will work, so let's get our game on.

If he keep taking this long to make his moves, then he might end up having to forfeit his matches too anyway. He has made 2 moves in like 5 days. So if he's going to play you and Rantz too, our bracket could take a while.

The only problem for me is that I'm using some of my high-level cards against him too, so I won't be able to use those in our match. But I'll figure out a different card hand that I can use anyway if you just give me a moment.
