Just letting you know that I'm around to post my Funniest Member speech. I may not be around for Best CK, but the Ciddies are -- shockingly -- going at a good clip, so I might be!

You can build a very excellent desktop for £500+. The desktop equivalent of this laptop would be around that range, and this thing can handle Fary Cry 3 on High/Medium. I don't think it's necessary to go much higher, really. At most, I'd spend £800 on a desktop build. The laptop is different, because it's a self-contained entity that I can't really upgrade, which is a shame. Also, it's portable, hence the price hike. But still, it's better than going back to the smurfing consoles. I can't believe I actually oppose the console generation now; they've smurfed it that much.

Intel haven't released updated drivers for their 965 chipset on Windows 8. So, despite the fact that Windows 7 can get OpenGL 1.2 with the same onboard chipset, 8 can't. SSOGH;DSJFH
