I think I actually should have used that same Cactuar deck against Rantz. Instead, I picked random cards without really having a plan in mind. I got too cocky with my Ifrit. Curse you, Ifrit! xD

Oddly enough, at certain points in the game, zombies are able to break down your normally secure doors to your house. Not to mention the goblin invasions!

I usually go for 4x Cactuars + 1x Gargantua. I also have 2 "preset tactics" for that deck that allows me to play and win or get a draw quickly most of the time while hardly even needing to care about what the computer is playing, UNLESS the computer puts down cards in places that doesn't follow its usual pattern, in which case you need to stop and think a bit. Also, there is a certain Ultima Weapon + Mobile-thingy method that can counter the Cactuar rampage sometimes. But at least 90% of the time, I can win by just using the same two different tactics (which one depends on whenever the computer starts or not, basically).

As the name suggests, it's am elevator that goes straight down to Hell.

My current project is to find the ultimate forge thing that spawns in every world, build a Hellevator (a massive elevator going straight through the ground that you plummet through) to it, build a workshop around it, then build a new house above it on the surface. It's going to take a while, but it'll be so fulfilling once I finally get it.

Nah, it's not. My laptop with only onboard graphics runs it like a dream, even when I joined a server which put me in a Paul and Dan style cage of death. There were about half a dozen newbies and a few pro-cocks destroying us, and the game didn't slow down at all.

That makes me so sad, I honestly think I might cry.

Well... I don't really have any trouble winning those cards anyway, so yeah. The average time for a match against the computer is like 30 seconds, and I lose for being too hasty only like once every 10 matches at most.
