haha yeah man that's what i want to do eventually as well, the creative writing side of things. but I always procrastinate on it because of trying to get so much other stuff in my life in order. like I have this idea that I shouldn't start doing anything like that until I have got some kind of stable environment and income set up before doing it. it's a pain in the arse career path we've chosen to head into.

funny you should mention yahtzee, i was actually in a book store the other day looking for new books and I saw a novel he'd apparently written. second one or something like that. who knew that moaning about video games on the internet could open those kinds of doors. maybe we should start a website where we piss and moan about everything and maybe we'll get book deals too.

also yeah that's fair jews really, can imagine it would be frustrating. You got a degree in Journalism right? Not sure what your uni lecturers have told you about post degree life but from what I was told back when I was doing it, if you're serious about getting into journalism then it's good to have some kind of specialist knowledge to back you up whenever you get around to trying to apply for jobs. So mebbe if you can be arsed it would be worth looking into getting a masters in something, if there are any you're interested in and eligible for. My lecturers always told me that with so many people trying to get into journalism these days potential employers would always be more likely to go for the guy who had specialist knowledge in, say, law or religion or even film (if you're desperate xD) or something like that. sure doing a masters would be a bitch but yeah, just something to consider dude.

well that is an unfortunate chain of events. i hope you manage to get good internet again soon because god damn, no one should be deprived of that and no one should be deprived of the sons.

also sweet dude congrats on making it through uni! what things have you got lined up for your post-uni life? anything yet or are you just taking the time to chill and mull over your options?

also god damn, that is only like the second time i've written too much in a usernote and had to split it up. i hate the character limit they introduced.

yes one piece of advice I would hand out to anyone is to never get a god level chair until you have to money to constantly replace god level chairs because taking the step back down is the most heart breaking experience. unfortunately I don't have the cash to spare to get back up there and it is torture of the highest degree.

also yes please get on the dexter binge I am in desperate need of someone who is just watching it for the first time now like me, Pauw is chatting with me about it but he's seen everything so he's just trying to dance around spoilers. saying that I've pretty much rinsed 3 seasons of it in about 4 days so xD I'm going fast. in fact no, if you're gonna go on a tv binge i beg of you to watch the Sons of Anarchy, it is the best tv show and hardly anyone has seen it.

I finally got around to watching dexter and am currently on a massive binge. it pleases me. a couple of months ago my hax awesome best chair of my entire life leather managers chair that I had at my computer desk broke after 4 years of loving service, and yesterday the cheap plastic piece of trout i got to replace it broke. this greatly displeases me.
