Yes, that is an unusual name. For some reason it doesn't seem that odd to me that someone would be called April or May. But if they were called September or December, that seems quite odd.

My dad doesn't start in September. His birthday is in September though!

And I once met a girl named September. What a strange thing to name your kid, I thought! But at the same time, it was sort of neat.
